Chalet des Alpes

Welcome to the luxury Chalet des Alpes, set high above the Rhône Valley in the village of Lens, just 10 minutes from the famous 4 season resort of Crans Montana. This privately-run catered chalet offers excellent levels of service and comfort. We aim to go that little bit further and we try to be different without taking away comfort and service. This brand new chalet, built in traditional Valaisian style with all the modern facilities that today's discerning traveller requires, is only 2 hours (170km) from Geneva, most of which is easy motorway driving. All rooms are en-suite with amazing views along the Rhône Valley and across to Anzère.

Arrive any day for our Walking Holidays.Midweek flights to Geneva are cheaper but we are able to adjust your itinerary if you arrive any other day. If you only have a few days to spare we can tailor make an itinerary for you. Short breaks welcome.

At certain times during the months of May, June, September and October we offer a free return transfer service from Sierre Railway Station. During July and August the transfer is approx. CHF 50 each way.

Chalet des Alpes is open for business throughout the year. The spring weather in May & June is perfect for walking. July and August can be hot and there are plenty of lakes and pools to help you cool off. If you wish to walk above 3000 metres the top lifts are open in July and August. Lifts up to 2200 metres are open from June through to the end of October. September & October have comfortable temperatures and of course the wonderful Autumn colours. There are so many activities and places to visit in the area.

A car will give you much more flexibility to enable you to explore this wonderful area.
